The Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), Anambra State Branch, has commended the Divisional Police Officer 3-3 Police Division, Onitsha, CSP Emeka Obi, ?for his proactiveness, diligence, patriotism and doggedness in fighting crimes, criminalities, maintenance of law and order and his other constitutional responsibilities that resulted in rapid reduction of crimes and a crime-free Christmas and New Year celebrations in the Division and its axis.?

The rights group in a recent statement endorsed by Comrades Vincent Ezekwueme and Chidi Mbah extolled CSP Emeka Obi ?for his prompt responses to distress calls and complaints.? It described CSP Obi as ?a shining example of our envisaged police officer and policing,? adding: ?He has through his excellent works and actions rekindled people?s hope and confidence in Nigeria Police Force.

?He mobilized his Officers and Men to decongest the ever busy 3-3 Junction and ensured free flow of traffic. Besides, he provided two traffic control cubicles and ensured constant patrol and surveillance of estates under his command. He ensured adequate security and protection of lives and properties during the distribution of Christmas/New Year palliatives by Bishop E.C. Obiora of Life of Faith Bible Church, Federal Housing Estate.?

Anambra CLO added that CSP Obi, ?mobilized and facilitated procurement of state-of-the-art Operational Vehicle by 3-3 Estates Association because of the trust and confidence reposed in him. He personally leads onslaughts against criminals, and this has immensely helped in making operations and activities of the Division more effective. We thank him tremendously and calls on other Officers and Men and public servants to emulate him,? the rights group added.

It equally lauded 3-3 Estates Association ?for their unalloyed support and solidarity that have immensely enhances protection of lives and properties in the area and its environs.?
