Hon. Engr. Eric Anyamene, whose second name, ought to be ?Mr. Philanthropist?, has lived up to the people?s billings by sharing Christmas and New Year largesse to the under-privileged people, who live in Obosi in-land town, his natal home.
His distribution of food commodities, especially bags of rice, which spanned between December 20, 2024 and December 31, 2024, took place at Obosi, Anambra state, where he has his country home.
More than five thousand people, who live in Obosi in-land town, which is composed of five villages, namely Umuota, Ugamuma, Ire, Mmakwum, and Uruowulu, thronged the house of Engr. Eric Anyamene for the gifts.
To avert the occurrence of stampede, which occurs during the sharing of Christmas gifts to the masses of the people, stern-looking policemen maintained orderliness during the distribution of the gifts in his commodious compound at Obosi.
The beneficiaries of his largesse have continued to eulogize him for his uncommon act of love, which enabled them to celebrate the Christmas festival, happily.
Chief Eric Anyamene, an engineer, is a political aide, to the Governor of Bauchi state, Bala Mohammed.
He is one of the technocrats, who strut their stuffs in the corridors of power, at the state level, to improve our country?s quality of political leadership.
More so, Engr. Anyamene is the founder of the Eric Foundation, an organisation, which has been paying UTME fees for prospective UMTE candidates as well as offering scholarships to the best UTME candidates, who registered for UTME via the Eric Anyamene Foundation.
The Eric Anyamene Foundation is concerned with lifting the poor from the dungeon of poverty, assisting in the infrastructural development of towns, and offering students from poor homes financial assistance to enable them receive qualitative tertiary education.
