A 38-year-old man, identified as Zacharia Moses, has reportedly slumped and died while separating a fight in Kuchiyako village in Kuje Area Council of the FCT.
A witness, Danlami, said the incident happened around 9:33pm at a Christmas party at the community square on Saturday.
He said a misunderstanding broke out between two young men over a missing phone with the owner accusing the other of removing the phone from his pocket.

He said the owner of the missing phone held his colleague?s shirt, demanding that he returned the phone to him but the accused vehemently denied removing the phone.
He said, ?They were at the party when one of the boys raised an alarm that his phone was removed from his pocket while dancing and he accused another boy of stealing the phone. But when he was searched, the phone was not found on him.
He said that resulted in a fight between them, adding that a man who came to separate them suddenly collapsed.
He said the man slumped and that people around tried to revive him but he gave up.
?He was taken to a hospital in Kuje as one of his relatives came to say he was asthmatic but by then, doctors had already confirmed him dead,? he added.
Danlami said the corpse of the deceased was deposited at the hospital?s mortuary, while the two boys were arrested by vigilantes and handed over to security personnel in the area.
The spokeswoman of the FCT police command, SP Adeh Josephine, said she would call the DPO in the area to find out about the incident and revert but did not at the time of filing this report yesterday. (Daily Trust)
