President-General of Amuda Women Association, Lady Dr Njideka Frank-Eme

The Convener of Ihe Abia, Ichie Dr. Emeka Okpara, has congratulated the newly elected President-General of Amuda Women Association, Lady Dr. Njideka Frank-Eme, on her victory at the just concluded exercise to elect executives of the association.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after the election, Okpara described Dr. Njideka Frank-Eme as a round peg in a round hole, and well equipped in character and learning to lead Amuda women to the next level of socio-economic development.
Okpara described the election that produced Njideka Frank-Eme and other members of the executive as free, fair, credible and transparent, and charged them to live up to the expectations of the people and ensure that they run an inclusive government that carries everybody along.
During her acceptance speech, Njideka Frank-Eme thanked her family for the support she received and the women of Amuda for finding her worthy to lead them and promised to live up to their expectations.
She said: ?To my opponents, I offer my sincerest respect and admiration. Your commitment to our community and your passion for public service are qualities that we should all strive to emulate. I look forward to working with you in the days ahead to build a better future for Amuda.?
?And to those who may not have voted for me, I want to assure you that I will work tirelessly to represent your interests and concerns. My door will always be open for your suggestions and I will strive to be a leader who listens, who learns, and who leads with compassion and integrity?, she said.
Frank-Eme outlined her vision and objectives for the development of Amuda women which includes among others, empowering women, promoting women rights, empowering women economically to support their husbands and children, mentorship and leadership development, and community engagement to build a better Amuda that will benefit all.
Lady Njideka Frank-Eme (PhD) was born as the fifth child to family of Chief and Lolo Christopher Mba of Umumeze Amuda Isuochi and had her primary and secondary education at Aba, before proceeding to the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO for her first degree. She later obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education, PGDE from Enugu State College of Education Technical, an Msc from Anambra State University, and a PhD from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUTH, Enugu.
She is married to Sir Amarachukwu Frank Eme and the union is blessed with four children. Frank-Eme has served God in different capacities among which are Secretary joint Christian Campus Fellowship FUTO, chapter Secretary Women Fellowship Wesley Cathedral Methodist Church Enugu, Secretary Ezinne Council, Wesley Cathedral Methodist Church Enugu, and Social Secretary Enugu Diocesan Women Fellowship.
She also served as Chairlady Amuda Town Development Union Women Wing, Enugu branch, and National Treasurer Isuochi Development Union Women Wing and has also chaired many other committees.
She has received several awards that serve as a testimony to her leadership qualities and dedication to the service of her community, including Special Lady by Amuda Development Union Women Wing, Eziada by the Methodist Church Nigeria Nneochi Diocese, Ezinne by the Methodist Church Nigeria Enugu Diocese and Excellent Lady by Amuda Development Union Women Wing. Others are Best Branch Chairlady Amuda Town Development Union Women Wing 2014 -2022, and also as a Lady of Knight of John Wesley.
