Prophetess Naomi Silekunola, former wife of Ooni of Ife, ObaAdeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi,has reportedly been granted bail.

Granted bail alongside with her, according to a report by YouNewsNg, are Abdullahi Fasasi, principal of Bashorun Islamic High School, Ibadan; Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat, the proprietor of Agidigbo FM, Ibadan.

News Express, which this morning reported that Queen Naomi had gone on hunger strike at the Agodi correctional facility where they are remanded, could not confirm if any of the trio has been able to perfect the bail conditions.

A Chief Magistrate Court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, had ordered the remand of three key figures in connection with last week?s tragic stampede at Bashorun Islamic High School.

Presided over by Chief Magistrate Olabisi Ogunkanmi, the court?s ruling came on Tuesday, following their arraignment by the Oyo State Police Command.

The proceedings took place under heightened security, with a crowd of family members and interested parties gathered outside the courthouse.

The case comes up for mention on January 13, 2025.
