Gov Nwifuru of Ebonyi State

Ebonyi state Governor, Francis Nwifuru, has commissioned three bedroom flats to two families affected by mining activities in the state.
Performing the official handover of the residential building at Umuokpara in Oshiri community in Onicha Local Government Area, Nwifuru commended the executive director of Dolf Global Resources limited, Nnadi Donald, for fulfilling his internal agreement with the host community.
The Governor, represented by Prince Fidelis Nwifuru, described the event as exemplary and tasked other mining companies in the state to emulate the gesture.
Also, the state Commissioner for Solid Mineral Resources, Chidi Onyia explained, the need for mining companies to stick to the host community's agreement adding that Governor Nwifuru's led Government would not relent in fulfilling the people's charter of needs mantra aimed at uplifting the welfare of Ebonyi people especially communities where mineral resources are mined.
The Executive Director, Dolf Global Resources Limited, Nnadi Donald, said that the project which is in line with the mining act, has helped to cement good relationship with host Community and thank Ebonyi state government for creating enable environment for investors in the state.
In an interview, the beneficiaries, Moses Okike and Ebere Agwu, appreciated the mining company and Ebonyi state government for the new dawn in the Nwifuru-led Government where mining companies are made to stick to agreement with host communities, and prayed for God's blessings upon them.
It was gatheredthat projects commissioned includes the ultramodern Amaokpara Elders Hall which was built at the ancestral ground, 2-three bedroom flats, while the construction of 20-units of clinics are equally ongoing in the area.
