Tragedy reportedly struck in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State as suspected bandits abducted a newly-wedded bride along with four bridesmaids shortly after the wedding ceremony.
The incident occurred on Saturday at Kwaren Gamba near Kuka Teke, a village in Sokoto State known for repeated attacks by armed groups loyal to Bello Turji in the region.
A security expert In the Northern region, Zagazola Makama, understands that the armed men stormed the area and forcefully took the victims amidst widespread panic and helplessness among residents.
