Dear Organised Private Sector,

What are you organizing? What do you organise? Organised Private Sector, you own the government because there is a revolving door between government and the Organised Private Sector.

Organised Private Sector, defence is organisation. You are organisingto defend Nigeria from poverty, hunger, disease and squalor but you have failed and failed woefully.

The statistics are quite grim.

Where are your business models and strategies to address the 48 million Nigerians defecating in the open? The 170 million Nigerians exposed to contaminated water? And many more related questions of putting profit before people rather than a mantra of people, purpose and planet.

Some of you would have to reinvigorate your board of directors to include toilet cleaners and security officers like me. Diversity of people and experience to attract the idle trillions of dollars around the world. Do ESG and stakeholders’ capitalism and not shareholder capitalism.

Then you are fine. Not nepotism, ethnicity or religion. Then you are fine with attracting trillions of dollars.
