Mallam Mele Kyari, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd, has lost his daughter, Fatima Kyari.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports the late Fatima, aged 25, passed away earlier today, Friday, October 11, 2024.
Details of the cause of Fatima’s death were not immediately available.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima led other mourners at the funeral prayer, held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja.
Shettima, who prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased, asked God to grant the family members the strength to bear the painful exit of their daughter, who was in her prime.
