The governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has condoled the state Police Commissioner, Mr. Mohammed Katisna, over the death of one of his officers, Superintendent Kefas Go’ar who was until his death, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Oru East Local Government Area as well as Ambush Squad Commander for Orlu zone.

Governor Okorocha in a release signed by Mr. Jude Okeke, the Director of Information, Government House, Owerri, described the deceased as a gallant and courageous officer who dedicated his life time to the service of the nation.

He regretted that late Superintendent Go’ar, who hailed from Plateau State, died at a time his services were very much needed and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Okorocha extended his heartfelt sympathy and that of the people of the state to the family of the deceased and prayed to God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss. He also approved that N1 million be released for the upkeep of Go’ar’s family.
