The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Thursday, May 12, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: The region is likely to witness partly cloudy conditions with sunny intervals, especially over Postikum, Maiduguri and Nguru axis. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-29oC.

CENTRAL STATES: There are prospects of early morning thunderstorms activities to affect Mambilla, Makurdi, Lokoja and Lafia axis. We expect evening/late night thunderstorm activities to affect most places within the region. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 20-26oC.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the entire region in the morning while there are chances of localised thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 22-24oC.
