One-time Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, is presently a guest of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at its headquarters in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.
A report from Abuja said that Fani-Kayode, who served as Spokesman of the Goodluck-Sambo Presidential Campaign Organisation, is being grilled EFCC’s main interrogation room known as Idiagbon House.
The anti-graft agency had written Fani-Kayode last week, inviting him to report at its head office today to answer questions regarding alleged corruption running into hundreds of millions of naira.
EFCC operatives followed up with a siege on Fani-Kayode’s Asokoro Abuja residence last Friday, which was lifted after newsmen swooped on the property on the embattled politician’s invitation.
It is not yet clear if Fani-Kayode would be allowed to return home today after interrogation.
