Security fears: Access Bank removes lockers outside hall

The unabated security situation in the country which has given Nigerians and indeed the world sleepless nights has crept into the banks.

And to guard against any security threat, Access Bank of Nigeria, one of the new generation banks in the country has announced the removal of lockers outside its banking halls from April 15, 2016.

The bank said in a short message service (SMS) sent to all its customers that this move has become necessary because of security concern in the country.

The sms reads: “Due to the security concerns, we will be removing the lockers outside our banking halls from April15, 2016.”

The bank, however, advised its customers to use its alternative banking channels which includes, Mobile banking, POS, Mobile Wallet and ATM, among others.
