Air Peace maiden London crew and dignitaries
Air Peace, on Saturday, commenced its Lagos-London flight services.
The commencement of the service came a month after itannouncedplans to begin direct flight operations to London on March 30 during a prelaunch forum organised by the airline in February.
In November, Air Peaces Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Allen Onyema, announced that the airline had successfully obtained the Foreign Carrier Operator Permit and Third Country Operator Permit.
This means it is qualified to operate flights to Europe and the United Kingdom.
The development was made known on the Air Peace X handle on Saturday.
The airline wrote, London service has commenced and were delighted to have achieved yet another feat in our drive to continually provide peaceful connectivity across cities.
A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this launch.
Present at the inaugural flight to London is the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo; and Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anita, among others. (Saturday PUNCH)
