Nasarawa House Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has promised to adopt the principle of inclusive administration for peace, unity, and progress of the institution and the state.

He stated this on Sunday when he visited his constituency, Kokona LGC of Nasarawa State.

The Speaker, who was received by thousands of supporters in Garaku, told them that he would not disappoint or undermine the mandate given to him.

“First and foremost, I want to thank God for this position and to thank the people of Kokona West for electing me into the State Legislature. l appreciate mycolleagues for the confidence reposed in me,” he said.

The Speaker also assured of his readiness to effectively synergize with the other arms of government for the overall development of the state.

“We will give His Excellency the maximum support and cooperation to succeed, that is the only way the government will provide the much needed dividends of democracy to the people,” he added.

He admonished the people of the state to shun religious and ethnic politics for development to thrive and also told the people that the state government would embark on construction of some roads in Kokona and other local government areas of the state in no distance time.

Earlier Hon. Awalu Adamu, the Chairman of Kokona Local Government Area, while addressing the people, urged the new Speaker to operate an open-door policy for the overall development of the state.

“Rt Hon Speaker, we want to thank God for your election as Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

“As a political leader of Kokona Local Government Area, we want to assure you of our loyalty, prayers and support for you, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and President Bola Tinubu, to succeed,” he added
