The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, March 6, 2016:

NORTHERN STATES: Cities like Kano, Katsina, Nguru, Gusau, Damaturu, and Sokoto are expected to be sunny and hazy. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range, 22-25 o C.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy condition is expected with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over southern Kaduna, southern Jos, Abuja and Makurdi during evening/night hours at the forecast period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range, 22 -26 o C.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is expected over the southern region with early morning thunderstorms especially over the southeast cities. High temperatures in the afternoon may result in isolated rain showers in same places. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range, 24-26 o C.
