The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, February 5, 2016:
NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to prevail over Kano, Katsina, Nguru, Gusau, Maiduguri, Gombe, Sokoto and Yelwa. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 21-25 o C.
CENTRAL STATES: Increased cloudiness is expected with prospects of localized thundery showers over Abuja, Bida, Minna, Lafia, Ilorin, Yola, Makurdi, Lokoja and southern Kaduna in the afternoon/evening period. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 19 -27 o C.
SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected over the southern region in the morning hours, while localized thunderstorms are likely over the inland and the coastal cities in the afternoon/evening hours. Night time temperatures are expected to be in the range of 23-27 o C.
