Troops of the Armed Forces Special Forces (AFSF) have routed and driven Boko Haram terrorists from yet another community in Borno State in Nigeria’s troubled North East, the Nigerian Army said last night.
A terse statement by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said: “In continuation of the clearance of the remnants of recalcitrant members of Boko Haram terrorists in the various nooks and corners of the North East, the Armed Forces Special Forces (AFSF) carried out successful clearance of Boko Haram terrorists hiding in Gudumbali general area.”
The Army Spokesman gave no further details but the operation is believed to have taken places possibly yesterday.
