A coalition of Osun State-based civil society organisations, the Civil Societies Coalition for the Emancipation of Osun State (CSCEOS), has congratulated its director, Media and Strategy and former chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council, Bishop Seun Adeoye, on his ordination slated for Saturday February 27, 2016 at the Sufficient Grace and Truth Ministry (SGTM), Rehoboth Arena, Okinni, Egbedore Local Government Area of the state.

The group also congratulated Adeoye and his wife, Modupe on their 50th birthday, which coincided with his ordination Bishop of the church.

In a statement issued in Osogbo yesterday by the group’s Directorate of Media and Strategy and signed by its chairman, Comrade Adeniyi, Alimi Sulaiman, it urged Adeoye to see his

elevation as a call to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and humanity, as well as to fight against any form of injustice and rots in our society. He charged him to employ his wealth of experience in journalism over the years in his new assignment, describing the elevation to bishop as an act of God and for the promotion of God’s work.

“We are using this medium to salute Adeoye’s resonant voice in and out of season in matters great and small. We also cherish your industry, courage, and keen sense of fairness and justice, which earned him goodwill beyond measure. We pray to God to give Bishop Seun Adeoye, the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the church to greater height, bringing him and the members of his family greater joy, peace and happiness here and beyond.”
