Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, this afternoon claimed the final victory in the tussle for his exalted seat.

It came when the Supreme Court sitting in the nation’s capital, Abuja, dismissed the appeal of his main challengers, Chief Great Ogboru of the Labour Party (LP) and Olorogun O’tega Emerhor of the All Progressive Congress (APC), for lack of merit.

Okowa, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), thus completes a quartet of victories against the duo: During the April 11, 2015 election, at the Electoral Tribunal, then at the Court of Appeal, and now at the apex court.
