Starlets Academy, Port Harcourt has been announced the winner of this years West African Quality Education Awards in the Value-Based Education category.

The Award GeneralCommittee of the West African Quality Education Awards 2023, headed by Prof. Stanley Ohenhen, after a rigorous, detailed, and robust assessment of applicable educational indices, declared STARLETS ACADEMY, PORTHARCOURT, WEST AFRICA'S BEST SCHOOL IN VALUE BASED EDUCATION FOR THE YEAR 2023.

In response to the award, the Founder and Director of Starlets Academy, Dr. Kudo Eresia-Eke, said he and the Starlets family were delighted and encouraged by the award.

He said he was grateful that Starlets Academy's insistence on value based education in spite of the corrosion of ethics and character in society, is paying off.

Starlets is driven by the four core values of Respect, Integrity, Passion and Excellence.

These values, he said, inform the culture of Starlets Academy, whose motto is Character First.

Dr Eresia-Eke emphasized that in the training of students, character must always be of the highest priority.

He added that the behavioral values preached by institutions must first be modeled by their Directors, Management and staff before they can effectively be assimilated by the students.

He said Starlets Academy was thus dedicating the award to the school management and staff for imbibing the culture of leadership and teaching by example.

It would be recalled that Starlets Academy is one of the few schools totally bereft of exam malpractice, bullying, and cultism.
