One of the few fine actors in Nollywood, Nonso Diobi, who suddenly missed in action has returned in a grand fashion as a consummate professional.

He made his return public recently during an interview with Hip Television where he explained his sudden disappearance and the skill he has acquired while he was away.

Hear him: “I left the movie scene to brush up my knowledge in acting, directing and even film making as a whole. I am not naturally the type who is comfortable having just a knowledge of just one of the many aspects of film packaging.”

The top actor with typical American accent maintained that he took time-off to plan and execute the movement which has, at last, yielded the expected fruits.

“What I have just done is to deliberately make sure that the acquired knowledge improved me greatly physically and intellectually, making me something else in the entertainment industry, specifically in Nollywood, thereby giving my fans what they have actually been yelling for. That’s basically what dragged me off the scene for quite some time,” he insisted.

Diobi who, confessed that he was happy to be back, announced that he would soon return to Nollywood with a bang which would be obvious in his two movies currently in the works.

The celebrated actor who was looking his best and radiating the expected confidence of a star announced with glee that he was no longer the regular Nonso Diobi, the star actor that fans knew then.

“I can now direct and produce my own movies. I am telling you now that very soon, my fans would understand why I took sometime time-off from Nollywood. What they would see me doing will stamp undoubtedly that entertainment is my life,” he asserted.
