Theatre Arts experts know that the looks of actors and actresses on set are the handiwork of costume packagers. But beyond this, most actors and actresses have been showing class in their dress code outside the set. On parade in this edition are five celebrated actors, namely: Ramsey Noah, Jim Iyke, Chidi Mokeme, Nonso Diobi and Desmond Elloit.

RAMSEY NOAH

This fine boy and celebrated actor whom bunch of his fans hate to love has since been tipped as the most powerful dresser among the make believe celebrity actors in Nollywood, according to some keen watchers. As if he has been aware of this tipping, Noah has been looking his best at all times, especially at Nollywood gatherings. This high taste image, he has actually maintained amidst the challenging financial situation in Nigeria. Feelers regularly in touch with the show boy insist that he is in love with suits, jackets and jeans trousers at any time any day. From the ever availability of these wears, Showbiz Xtra can easily and correctly deduce too, that his wardrobe may have been full of those various designs of fanciful wears. We gathered that among his favourite shopping international outlets is Italy which is known and applaudedfor their place in international fashion discourse.

JIM IYKE

The highly controversial actor, according to Nollywood keen followers, takes serious pride in his appearance anytime and anywhere. He is simply one actor who strongly believes in spending any amount to look good at all times. Interestingly, his philosophy does not start today. In fact, it dates back to the year, 2002 when this columnist knew Iyke and socialized with him for long. Till date, he feels kinky and comfortable in corporate and casual smart wears, but not traditional ones which he has never been proud to spot. He is said to be a lover of good shoes which undoubtedly compliments his wears. Iyke is just one celebrated freak of top-notch fashion outfits around the world. However, he is acommitted patron of our good and local fashion packagers. One of his favourite fashion stops is stationed at the bustling Akerele area in Surulere vicinity.

CHIDI MOKEME

Before this top actor fizzled out for longfrom Nollywood hustling and bustling as a result of challenging health matter, he has been nicknamed the GO as a result of his high sense of dress code which has since become synonymous with his public appearances. Those who are at home with his background as a fashion model would not be taken aback about his high sense of anything fashion. As a man steeped in the knowledge of style, he loves to spot corporate wears most times. However, he dons, occasionally, casuals for a change and he looks pretty good in them. This however, depends on the occasion in focus. We noticed that he can't be caught napping without fine and befitting glasses, which he wears stylishly on his forehead.

DESMOND ELLIOT

This fine actor-turned politician who came back to power recently is seriously applauded for his impressive definition of fashion. That perhaps explains why Elliot's presence anywhere magnets attention at anytime, even as a politician. Luckily for Elliot, he looks good in wears and with his Oliver De Coque-like beards. Both clauses may have helped him in no small measure to maintain his hold on those he meets as a politician.

NONSO DIOBI

The star actor whom many critics of the industryinsist is simply good-looking and lucky too, appears to be so because it didn’t take long before marketers, directors and producers noticed him as a good role interpreter. As a smart guy, he quickly built on this with his eye-catching dress code. This lover of suits and native wears, makes sure he looks take-away in any of his wears. Diobi is naturally at home in any wear which titillates and makes him to bubble too.
