Blues held to goalless draw at London's Stamford Bridge
Chelsea drew with Liverpool 0-0 in a home match Tuesday in the English Premier League a couple of days after manager Graham Potter was fired by the Blues.
Bruno Saltor was in interim charge of Chelsea at London's Stamford Bridge.
Potter was dismissed Sunday after a poor run of results in the league.
Chelsea were held to a goalless draw in London as German midfielder Kai Havertz's goal in the second half against Liverpool was ruled out after a VAR review for a handball.
So points were shared.
Both clubs are far from the title race as mid-table Chelsea have 39 points in 29 matches.
Liverpool have a game in hand, but the Reds are ranked eighth with 43 points in the Premier League led by Arsenal, who have 72 points.
Second-place Manchester City have 64 points in the league table. (Anadolu Agency)
