Kuda experiences app glitches but says no cause for alarm

Neo bank, Kuda, has allayed the fears of its customers who have been unable to access their money since Tuesday owing to glitches on its app.

The bank said the customers’ money was safe and it was working on fixing the issue with the app, adding that customers would be able to access the app once the issue is resolved.

Customers of the bank have become apprehensive owing to their inability to access the Kuda app for transactions. Some customers are able to log in but the balance on their account show zero.

Reacting to the development, the bank apologised to its customers, acknowledging that it was aware of the glitches, including the zero balance error.

The bank said it was working to fix the problem and assured its customers that they would be notified once the downtime had been fixed, adding that the customers’ money remained safe in spite of the glitches.

Kuda wrote on its verified Twitter handle, @joinkuda, “We’re sorry that you still haven’t been able to use your Kuda app. We’re working with our cloud services provider to sort out the downtime, and we’ll let you know when it’s been fixed. Your money remains safe and you’ll be able to access it as soon as services are restored.

“We know that the ₦0.00 balance error reported by several people is worrying but we assure you that it’s just what the app is displaying because of the downtime, not the amount of money you actually have. We’ll keep sharing updates as we make progress.” (The PUNCH: Text, Excluding Headline)
