Rain showers likely today in Lagos, Warri Yenagoa, Port Harcourt and Eket, says NiMET

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, December 2, 2015:

SOUTHERN STATES

Coastal Areas: Misty/fog conditions are expected in the early hours of the morning which is expected to be lifted by sunrise. Partly conditions in the morning and afternoon with the exception of Lagos, Warri Yenagoa, Port Harcourt and Eket that are expected to experience showers in the afternoon/evening hours.

Inland Areas: Mist/fog and hazy conditions are expected over the inland cities in the morning hours while hazy conditions is expected to prevail over the inland cities in the afternoon/evening hours.

Central States: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 2-5km is expected to prevail over the entire region with localised visibility of 1,000m in few places

NORTHERN STATES: Dust haze condition with visibility range of 1,000m.
