Gun attack shatters the peace in Abuja

A brazen gun attack last night shattered the peace in the Kuje area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.

The attack was reportedly against the police but details of those behind it and the outcome are not yet available.

A resident who sent a distress call to News Express around 10:30 p.m. said: “There is an attack on Kuje Road in Abuja right now. Not sure if insurgents or armed robbery. But involved heavily armed people against the police.”
