RIWAMA Sole Administrator wants full participation of all CTC Chairmen in today’s monthly sanitation exercise

Ahead of today’s monthly sanitation exercise, the Sole Administrator of Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah, yesterday urged all Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the 23 Local Government Councils to adequately mobilise and ensure that residents in their local government areas fully participate and obey the restriction of movement order.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, the Sole Administrator urged them to liaise with the Police Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers in the LGAs to ensure strict compliance of the restriction of movement orders, between 7am and 10am.

Bro Obuah warned uniformed personnel who escort those not on essential duty during the sanitation hours to desist forthwith as the law will not spare them.

He also warned against turning the sanitation hours into streets football and trading, adding that anybody caught will be arrested and prosecuted.
