A 15-year-old girl has whipped her seven-year-old sibling to death in Otuagbagi Community of Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
It was gathered that the tragic incident was preceded by a disagreement between the deceased, Harry Festus, and his sister Faith over domestic chores.
A witness in the neighbourhood, who declined to be named, said that the deceased received severe whipping over refusal to go on an errand.
Police sources in Ogbia Division said that the incident occurred on the November 9, 2015.
The development threw the parents of the deceased into shock.
The tragic incident occurred after school hours and in the absence of the parents.
Mr. Asimin Butswat (ASP), Spokesman of the Bayelsa Police Command, confirmed the development and said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the Kolo General Hospital in Ogbia LGA.
