When Yoruba movie packagers started years back, juju and witchcraft themes occupied the minds of their script Writers, Producers, Directors and Marketers.

They were simply neck-deep in their themes which every one of them strongly believed that their followers will be delighted to identify with.

This was simply because stories that emanated from there, revolved round juju and witchcraft, with obvious commercial appeals and gains.

Interestingly, Nigerians are used to them and, as a result, embraced them with such eagerness from the depth of their hearts.

The strong reason for such may have risen from their age-long relationship with the themes which may have become part and parcel of their lives and living.

Most members of their audience must have fallen victims to the evils at a time or another. So, they were not new to them anymore.
