The convoy of Prof Bernard Odoh, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ebonyi State, has been attacked by suspected members of Ebubeagu security operatives.

The attack took place on Thursday afternoon.

It was gathered that Odoh and his supporters were on their way to Iboko, Igbeagu in Izzi local government area of the state to commission the party’s office.

Publicity Secretary of the party Nwachor Chibuike confirmed the attack on his Facebook handle.

He said three persons sustained gunshot injuries while many buses were destroyed.

Special Assistant to Governor David Umahi on Internal Security, Mr Panchris Ikechukwu, was not available for comment at the time of this report. (Daily Sun)
