The Germany branch of the Anambra State Association (ASA) has urged its members to emulate the example of Innoson Group and bring their individual and collective investments back home to the state.

The ASA Germany President, Hon. Joseph Eberechukwu Enwena (Ikenga Ogirisi Igbo Germany), made this call in a statement where he expressed support for a meeting in response to the clarion made by the Anambra State Government for Foreign Direct Investment through the Think Home Mantra slated for Saturday, July 16, 2022, to enable the members to brainstorm and discuss various important business interests.

The statement reads: “The apex socio-cultural, economic and non-partisan frontier of Ndi Anambra in Diaspora known as Anambra State Association (ASA) Worldwide led by Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze, the 2023 PDP Presidential Frontline Aspirant, and Hon Chudi Asidianya, Secretary General ASA Worldwide.

“The umbrella body which has its branches in different countries of the world like USA, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Hongkong, Japan, South Africa, Korea, Indonesia, Russia, Belarus, Dubai, etc., with common agenda on how to assist the home state government in development and improving the living conditions of her people back home.

“As ASA Germany Branch led by her President, Hon. Joseph Eberechukwu Enwena (Ikenga Ogirisi Igbo Germany), his Vice, Chief Mrs Nwaka Ibekwe (Ezenwanyi Nürnberg), Secretary General, Engr Lawrence Okonkwo, Vice Secretary General, Mr Chigozie Nweke-Eze (Integrated Global, Ife Igbo Germany), Director of Socials, Chief Chris Onwuasoanya (Nze Ndubuisiaku), other Executives, Advisory Board, Board of Trustees, and Patron and her entire members will meet on Saturday 16th July, 2022 to brainstorm and discuss important business interests ranging from Energy, Real Estate Investments, Logistics and Transportation, Online business, Annual Medical and Education Mission, Future Planning and Ideas in a bid to answer the clarion call by Anambra State Government under the able Leadership of H.E Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo administration for Diaspora engagement and direct foreign investment into our dear State.

“This type of meeting is happening in almost every branch countries where ASA Worldwide exists as the development and security of Anambra State have formed the centre stage discussion by Diasporans because no society can truly thrive without a well sophisticated security network and development strategy.

“The ASA Germany President charges Ndi Anambra, wherever they may be, to consider bringing home the large chunk of her both Individual and collective investments home just like Innoson Group and others have done in the time past as a surest way to help the State Government to create more job opportunities for our teeming youths thereby reducing crime rates to the barest.

“He further reminded Ndi Anambra that our State sobriquet which is "Light of the Nation" should be our guiding principle in all we do as a people.”
