The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Tuesday, September 22, 2015:
SOUTHERN STATES COASTAL AREAS: Cloudy condition is expected to prevail over the southwest coast while the southeast coast will likely experience localised rain in the morning hours with prospects of localised rains over the entire coast in the afternoon/evening.
INLAND AREAS: Localised rains are expected over the entire region in the morning, while localised thunderstorm/rains are expected to prevail over the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.
CENTRAL STATES: Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect areas like Yelwa, Bida, Minna, Abuja, Lokoja, Makurdi, Lafia, and Ibi axis, while cloudy condition will prevail over the other parts of the central states in the morning. Localised thunderstorms are expected to affect the entire region in the afternoon/evening hours.
NORTHERN STATES: Cloudy morning is expected over the north-east with chances of localised thunderstorms over the north-west, while localised thunderstorms are expected.
