Ogun issues C of O to 1,500 Homeowners’ Charter beneficiaries

The Ogun State Government has issued the Certificate of Occupancy to another 1,500 beneficiaries of the Homeowners Charter designed by the government to allow residents and homeowners to ratify their building approval and title documents.

At a ceremony held at the arcade ground of the Governor’s Office in Abeokuta, the state capital, the Deputy Governor, Mrs Yetunde Onanuga, while representing the governor at the occasion, asked other applicants who are yet to get their C of O not to exercise any unnecessary apprehensions, saying they would be attended to in due course.

The beneficiaries and homeowners were drawn from different parts of the state.

The Homeowners Charter was introduced in December 2013 as part of efforts to liberalise development in the state. (Channels TV)
