Moses Onyedikachi Izuchukwu a.k.a KozyG and his younger sister Florence Chinwendu Izuchukwu popularly known as Floxy were on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 thrown into shock when their mother died.
According to a source close the family, their mother died after being ill for a while. Although no one from the family has come out to speak to the media on the cause of her death and other details, the duo and their siblings have taken to Facebook to express their shock.
KozyG wrote: “Mummy why?” while his sister through her official Facebook page said: “In a very sad mood today…
God has called my sweet mum and she will never be with us again.
We will miss her and her irreplaceable love, but God knows the best.
#RIP best mum ever.
Always in our hearts”
With sympathies pouring in, the duo who are individually working on releasing new singles, will put everything on hold till further notice.
On Sunday, Floxy posted on Facebook that she would be releasing a new single featuring Port Harcourt-based rapper Supa K, but will have to put the entire project on hold.
Her management said: “It is sad to learn that that the mother of our dear Floxy is no longer with us. We sympathise with her and the entire Izuchukwu family.
"We also wish to announce to her fans worldwide that everything concerning music in her life will be on hold at the moment because she needs to be with her family and sort things out. May God give them the fortitude to bear this great loss, in Jesus name, Amen.”
