Breaking News: Assassins shoot SUN Editor

Suspected assassins this afternoon shot Mr. Steve Nwosu, Editor of Daily Sun newspaper.

A competent source close The Sun who broke the news to Transport & Business Express disclosed that Mr. Nwosu was shot at Mazamaza as he made his way to The Sun’s Corporate Headquarters at Coscharis Street, Apapa. The scene described by the source is not too far away from the Sun office.

“They shot him in the head but he survived it,” the source said. “This is clearly the work of suspected assassins.”

Mr. Nwosu, who writes a powerful column in The Sun, was said to have been shot in his official Toyota Avensis car.

“He was sitting in frong beside the driver when he was shot,” the source told Transport & Business Express. “He has been taken to an undisclosed hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.”
