Former Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, has been appointed to head a five-man appeals committee for the Anambra State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward congresses.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP on Monday constituted the WARD Congresses Electoral Appeal Panel to consider appeals arising from the conduct of the Ward Congresses in Anambra State.

National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba said in a statement that panel has been scheduled for inauguration on Wednesday, February 23, at the National Working Committee (NWC) Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, by 10.00am.

The party urges all aspirants, leaders and critical stakeholders of PDP in Anambra State to take note.
