Dr Oby Ezekwesili, Chairman of the 80-man transition committee constituted by Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the governor-elect in Anambra says it will provide the template for the achievement of his manifesto.
Ezekwesili made the pledge while briefing journalists after the inauguration of the Committee in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra on Thursday.
She said they would bring ideas that had worked on other places that were relevant to the people of the state.
The former minister of education said the transition team was all about making sure that the rich diversity and knowledge of the people of Anambra were optimised.
According to her, states and communities follow some patterns, so we are bringing those ideas that have worked in some states that are relevant to us.
“We are bringing a sense of what it takes to build a coherent and cohesive voice of people with ideas and solutions.
“We want to make sure that the people of Anambra have a sense that this is a government where everybody will take responsibility and making sure we achieve prosperity and convert to a mega city that the governor-elect has espoused in his manifesto,” she said.
The 80-man included technocrats and experts in different including Prof. Pat Utomi, Chief Osita Chidoka, Dr Alex Otti, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, Mr Harry Udu, immediate past Head of Services in Anambra.
Others were Prof. Osita Ogbu, Dr Emeka Okeke, Chief Chikwe Udensi, Prof. Uche Amazigo, Mr Pat. Ikwueto, (SAN) Dr. Olisa Agbakoba, (SAN), Dr Akachukwu Nwankpo, Dr. Polycarp Emenike, Prof. Au Nnonyelu among others. (NAN)
