Poor leadership Nigeria’s greatest problem —Okorocha

Imo State governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has identified poor leadership as the greatest problem facing Nigeria as a nation.

Gov. Okorocha stated this over the weekend at the Ikemba Ojukwu Convention Centre, Owerri, during the launching of the book, “Essay on Contemporary Issues of Law” written by his Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Soronnadi Njoku.

The governor urged Nigerians to elect the right people into leadership positions so as to get right followership at all levels of government.

While frowning at the level of insecurity in the country, Gov. Okorocha posited that if the wealth of the nation had equitably distributed, there wouldn’t have been Boko Haram in the north or kidnapping in the southern parts of the country.

He urged the people to pray for the nation and leaders so as to build a betterNigeriathat will offer equal opportunities to the people.

Okorocha expressed worry about the incessant killing of innocent Nigerians, especially Igbos, in some parts of the country. He applauded Igbos for continuing to maintain the peace.

The governor applauded the initiative of his attorney-general in writing the book and urged him to sustain the spirit with which he had deployed in carrying out his official duties as the chief law officer of the state.
