The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted localised rain showers over Abuja, Jos, Lafia and Lokoja axis of the central states this morning.
The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Tuesday in Abuja.
It added that cloudy conditions would persist over other parts during the morning, while localised thunderstorms would be experienced over the entire region in the afternoon and evening hours.
NiMet also said that the coastal areas would experience rains over the entire region in the morning hours.
It added that cloudy conditions would be experienced over the southwest and localised rains in the afternoon and evening over the southeast axis.
NiMet also predicted that the inland areas would experience cloudy skies in the morning over the entire region, while localised rains would linger in the afternoon and evening hours.
The agency further predicted that the northern states would experience cloudiness in the morning, while localised thunderstorms would be experienced over most part of the region during the period. (NAN)
