National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA says it has recovered four bodies of the victims of yesterday helicopter crash that occurred at Oworonshoki end of the lagoon in Lagos.
12 passengers were on board and six survived while two remaining passengers are yet to be found.
Channels Television’s Yomi Otaigbe, who is reporting from the scene of the crash, said that officials of NEMA in conjunction with the police and locals recovered the bodies during rescue operations.
An unidentified helicopter had earlier crashed into the lagoon behind the Oworonsoki Police Station.
An eyewitness said the incident occurred at about 3pm, when the chopper, coming from the Ikeja axis, made a loud noise before nose-diving into the lagoon.
