Top actor and movie producer, Emeka Ike
Top actor, movie producer and businessman Emeka Ike has expressed his disappointment in young Africans who have allowed old and worn out politicians to continue to lord it on them.
The 54 years old Imo State-born Mechanical Engineering graduate from Yaba College of Technology made this remarks when on Thursday he posted a video of a highly disable President Bongo of Gabon being welcomed from the car into the French presidential lodge by a much younger and agile President Emmanuel Macron.
The former President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) said rather soberly:
“Who did this to Africa? At least resign now? Africa can only be governed by the sick old men, the unhealthy, demented, stacks, certified ignorant and selfish men.
“This has made neocolonisation easier for France and the world in general.
“While the young, active, agile, the intelligencias, creative and enterprising African citizens, the engine room of development, are all left to suffer in abject poverty and shame.
“My only problem is the African youths. They are still ignorant to this naked truth. We are too busy wasting away on social media to think. Not even using SM (social media) to fight this unimaginable injustice in our land.
“Let the discourse begin. Uhuru!”
