President Muhammadu Buhari is in the Republic of Benin as part of efforts to fashion out a workable solution to the insecurity in the West Africa region arising from the activities of Boko Haram terrorist group.
Buhari departed for Benin Republic from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, late this morning with Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos and Saidu Dakingari of Kebbi State.
Buhari had visited Cameroon earlier in the week for the same reason. He previously undertook similar visits to Chad and Niger Republic.
