Monday, September 20 was birthday of Tchidi Chikere’s son. On the same day, the multiple award-winning movie director and producer bade the son farewell to the university.

The birthday boy is the first of the three sons from Tchikere’s ex-wife, light-skinned actress Sophia Williams.

The 46 years old Imo State-born movie maker and English graduate from the University of Calabar had some words for his son as they walked together to the car:

“See who’s going off to the university today. And it is also your birthday today. Study well son and happy birthday, with all the love in the world. Daddy loves, loves, loves you.”

It will be recalled that TChidi Chikere and Sophia Williams broke up in 2012.

While he went on to marry another actress, Nuella Njubigbo who has given him a daughter, Sophia is romaning her live-in lover, a fast rising music artiste known as Young Mula.

Sophia and Mula welcomed their first child on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.
