‘Sakobi the Snake Girl’ stages a come back

Do you remember the classic Nollywood movie “Sakobi: The Snake Girl”?

The 1998 box office flick was produced and directed by Zeb Ejiro.

The first part told the story of Francis who wanted money, and gave up his only daughter as a sacrifice for wealth.

Unfortunately for him, his daughter was rejected by the Kongodi, and Francis was punished with short life span.

Sakobi featured Saint Obi, Susan Patrick (Sakobi), Tony Umez, Edith Ujay, Sunday Omobolanle (Aluwe), Zik Okafor and others.

The second part of the heart-stopping movie is here.

Speaking toMaggie’s Blogon Thursday, the widely acclaimed Sheikh of Nollywood Zeb Ejiro narrated the storyline of the second part of “Sakobi: The Snake Girl” thus:

“There came a storm one uncanny evening in the city of Lagos, a catastrophic climate change that remarked the dynamic return of Sakobi.

“Angela, a first year student of the University of Lagos, finds her way through school. Soon she learns that life as a student comes with a variety of spice, love interests non-excluded.

“Final year student and son of renowned rich parents Janet and Robert Lawson, of Lawson Tech and Communications, Larry Lawson, develops a love affair with the freshman.

“In no time, Angela is caught between a personality and desire rivalry of her sweet lovable essence as Angela and her serpentine alter being Sakobi.

“Whereas Angela is heartily falling in love with Larry, Sakobi has only one reason for her return, to kill the ambitious man who once had no trouble sacrificing his seed in exchange for wealth.

“A death sentence from the marine world – Robert Lawson must die!”

You’ll agree that this movie certainly is a must watch.
