It was like a carnival as some Nollywood stars converged on Awka, the Anambra State capital, to identify with Obiora Agbasimelo a.k.a Oga Ndi Oga as he flagged off his campaign to become the first citizen of the state.

The multi-millionaire technocrat, philanthropist and Nollywood benefactor is vying for the governorship of Anambra State under the auspices of Labour Party. He flagged off his campaign for the November 6, 2021 ballot last Saturday, August 14.

Among Nollywood stars present at the flag-off campaign of Labour Party were Destiny Etiko, Chiwetalu Agu, Chinyere Wilfred, Nkechi Nweje, Steve Eboh, Chidi Ihezie Okafor, Chinedu Ikedieze, Mc Smith Ochendo, and Uju Okoli, amongst others.

Agbasimelo in his speech promised to make Anambra State a hub for film makers if he becomes governor, adding that he would also address the plight of the downtrodden in the state.
