Popular comedian Ayodeji Richard Makun aka AY
Actor, comedian, radio and television presenter, Ayodeji Richard Makun, also known by his stage name A.Y, is in celebration mood.
The celebration started two days ago when he hit 11 million followers on Instagram.
That automatically bestowed upon the Ondo State-born Theatre Arts graduate from Delta State University Abraka, the status of the most followed Nollywood actor (male) and the most followed stand up comedian in Africa.
It also makes him a Guinness world record holder in terms of followership on the social media.
The comedian who will clock 50 years of age on August 19 celebrated this achievement with words of appreciation to his teeming fans:
“11 million followers? Thank you for every Like, Follow and Comment that has helped me reach my current stage. I am super blessed to have superb followers like you all on my account,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
Asking his fans to determine the mode of celebration, he asked:
“So how do we celebrate this? Make I do giveaway?”
Of course, your guess on the response by his fans is as good as mine.
