Lady Azuka Enemuo has been picked by governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Valentine Ozigbo, as his running mate for the November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship election.
Enemuo served as the Commissioner for local government under the former Governor Peter Obi-led administration.
While unveiling her at a stakeholders/ reconciliation meeting held Thursday at Oma Event Centre in Awka, Ozigbo explained that he picked her to tap from her versed experience
He added: “There is work to do by the party before the November 6 election. The litigations from some members were distracting PDP.”
In her acceptance speech, Enemuo thanked Ozigbo and the party leaders for finding rhe ex commissioner for such exalted position.
She promised never to disappoint the party and the party’s stakeholders.
Personalities in attendance to the meeting include Ex-Governor Peter Obi and Senator Ben Obi, among others.
