The management of the National Museum, Birnin Kudu, on Monday said it recorded more than 700 visitors between January and December 2014.
The Education Officer, Rock Paintings Interpretation in the museum, Malam Sufi Abubakar disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Birnin Kudu.
Abubakar said the visitors were from within and outside the country.
He said that some tourists from Germany and Egypt also visited the centre within the period under review.
Abubakar listed the monuments visited by the tourists to include Dutsen-Murhu, Dutsen-Musa and Dutsen-Habude rock painting sites.
He said that the three major sites provided the visitors the opportunity to know the historical background of the people. (NAN)
