Recently, popular rapper and songwriter, Emeka Akumefule, professionally known as Blaqbonez, was in Ibadan to promote his new album.

The 25-year-old Igbo artiste who grew up exposed to the Yoruba and Urhobo culture was surprised that boys in the ancient Yoruba city were only interested in bringing their girlfriends to take pictures with him rather than talk about his new album titled, “Sex Over Love”.

And the singer with a chain in his nose did not hide his feelings when he said in Pidgin:

“Omo, this Ibadan I no know wetin dey go on for this place o. Everywhere I go, they will say my girl want take picture with you. My girl want say hi to you. My girl say she’s a fan. All of una no dey do Sex Over Love abi na myself I sing the album for? Which one be my girl, my girl?”
